Incredible potential but leadership needs an overhaul - Anonymous employee Checkr Employee Review

Very ego heavy leaders and some even are very unprofessional and rude/cold including HR. Seems that Managers only want ideas from who they think has value. Managers appear to be hired based on who they know within Checkr; nepotism in different departments. (Referrals are great but not when it’s clusters of people from the same companies/circles) We can feel the favoritism because those people get all the opportunities to be stretched while others who could do possibly a better job on those opportunities are snuffed. Some teams don’t want to truly collaborate they just want to get ideas and control the processes. Lots of people trying to outshine others so they can promote or move to another role. Really strong leaders who started with the company beginning are resigning. With the company being 5 years old there should be more consistency by now. Still very much a scrappy company with too many cooks in the kitchen. People get fired without notice and after only being here a short time, which is terrible.
