      Pros

      Lots of background checks are being done.

      Cons

      Engineering leadership is poor from the top down. We don't have any direction and therefore don't have any goals or new projects. Stagnation has set in and now we're probably heading into greater moral decline. It's going to take a lot to turn this around. There is so much potential for Checkr projects such as government background checks, dating profile background checks, internet identity verification, etc. But upper management has no desire to grow horizontally.

      -Senior leadership only cares about what is new and shiny. -They treat AI like a religion. Forcing everyone to use AI for everything as though we don't realize that the end goal is to eliminate our roles - All Hands Meetings every month where Senior Leadership pats themselves on the back while ignoring any existing issues. - Support is treated like a necessary evil instead of a fundamental part of doing business. Would prefer to ship the roles overseas or replace with AI - Extremely high attrition for Senior Leadership.
