Pros
*Low stress job *No drama *Normal dress code *WFH days *Market pay ($1,400 a month for an entry-level Associate / Account Manager position) *It's okay to do the bare minimum to get by (many people watch netflix and youtube, and play on their phone for hours a day)
Cons
*Only 1 WFH day per week *Bonus is pathetic (~$100 annual bonus) *Job is monotonous and incredibly boring (job consists of copying/pasting from DOC/PDF documents into their app, as well as doing QA for others on your team. *There's nowhere to grow. You will be stuck in the same position for years. *On some teams, overtime is expected. *There's no career path. Upper management keeps repeating that a change is coming, but they've been saying the same for years. *No transportation offered (nor provided), but they do provide an $80 a month food/transportation subsidy *Zero team-building *Their slogan is that we think like marketers. No. Just no. We're not marketers. Any marketing input is not welcome. You're paid to do as you're told. You copy words from a document into the app. Lather, rinse, repeat. Over and over again. Then you do a QA process and make sure that your co-workers correctly copy/pasted words from their document into the app.
