Pros

Lots of experienced reps trying to achieve the franchise dream. Fully independent - they will not micromanage you and that is great.

Cons

Very little sales support and most products are “me too” products so there is not a lot to differentiate you from your competition outside of your experience as a chemical sales representative. The backroom markup and required profit margin are way to high and always changing and this will be your biggest obstacle to closing a sale. Safety culture is poor and pay plan does not work for Canadian Market space. Supply chain and chemical order and delivery process is absolutely terrible. Too many hands touching and changing orders. Internal communication is poor and orders need to be constantly watched to get them to your customers on time.
