Business Outlook
Pros
Good philosophy of caring for underserved patients. However methods of achieving this are sometimes questionable and include limiting medication options, limiting access to specialists, and limiting ER and hospital access.
Cons
Don't care for their own staff. Expectations are impossible to meet or, if you do meet them, they constantly raise them. The location I worked in expect physicians to see 25 patients per day, answer numerous phone calls and take any unscheduled walk-ins. These are the sickest and most complicated patients I have ever worked with in my 25+ year career. We also had limited working restrooms for many months- really a safety and health issue.
