Pros

You really get to know your patients, you are appreciated by your patients and coworker including the Physicians. Everyone works together and has one another's backs. get to utilize all your skills (including lab work, EKGs and many more). Great benefits, you can tell the company appreciates their staff. Opportunity to move up is endless, which is not the case anywhere else for MAs.

Cons

Hard work, but worth it in the end. Lots of programs to use every day.

Pros

Benefits Pay Co-workers Patients That’s all

Cons

Micromanagement at its finest. Providers don’t have the authority to do what is best for patients. I have worked in prisons and it is easier to get patients care they need there than it is working for Chenmed. They have you recite this saying every morning. Something about how their goal is to give their patients “more good days.” It’s all a load of crap. Their goal is to give the CEO and the Chen family more money and more good days. They think you can see these complex patients in 5 minutes. “Just have them come back every day,” they say as if that’s not taxing for an elderly person. Just stay away from this place and keep your loved ones away too.
