      Pros

      The company has an amazing mission. There are endless projects and opportunities to learn and grow. The company is very diverse as you will work with people from so many different backgrounds and cultures. The pay and benefits were very competitive.

      Cons

      At times I felt the pay wasn't worth the stress. The reviews were valid and accurate. I read the reviews but I thought I would have a different experience. I was wrong. I was juggling multiple projects with unrealistic expectations. Company strategies change with the wind. Physicians are allowed to make decisions on items in which they have no experience. There is no work-life balance, like none. Early calls, daily check-ins, competing priorities and direction from stakeholders, misalignment of leadership, aggressive growth schedule and the company will do whatever it takes to add new markets.

      Thank you for your support and contributions in delivering better health to seniors across the nation. Our ChenMed family (our staff) reflects the diverse populations of those we serve. In addition, we recognize we were all called to the organization to accomplish a shared goal and work together to create great outcomes for our patients. ChenMed is a very fast-paced and growing organization which does include changes, requires agility, and can include multiple assignments at once. Overall, work-life balance is a necessity. We understand that in order to best serve our patients, our teams need to take care of themselves and utilize PTO, set boundaries, and prioritize personal wellness.

      Pros

      The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

      Cons

      Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
