Pros

Meeting patients from all different backgrounds

Cons

Middle management competes against each other instead of working together. Doesn’t give an equal opportunity to all employees

As an organization, we are always looking at even more ways to cultivate a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Our minority-owned, family-operated company is currently comprised of a physician team that is two-thirds female and an employee base that is over half ethnic minorities. In addition to creating programs that recognize the many diverse demographic backgrounds within our company, we also prioritize growing our teams from within. Internal career mobility and promotions increased 33% in just this last year. This opportunity is encouraged and desired for all employees and is necessary to grow in a way that truly reflects and represents the communities we serve. Please allow us the opportunity to connect with you and better understand your experience. Just like each and every one of our patients, we value our employees and prioritize their individual goals and needs. We can be reached directly at, EmployeeRelations@chenmed.com.

Thank you for the 5-star review and for helping us bring more good days to our patients. We appreciate your feedback regarding center metrics. Each community presents unique circumstances, and we appreciate your recognition that success is still achievable when we support each other.

Pros

The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

Cons

Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
