Pros

Hopeful for the sale of the company. The people we work with are regular people with loving families.

Cons

The responses that are being copy and pasted to these reviews. “Please reach out to employee relations”…..for what? How about you actually respond and address the concerns that have been written by, not only former employees, but CURRENT employees. It shows no real action from the company. That’s how much they value their employees too. Workers comp with ChenMed is nonexistent and the claims are misfiled leading to hurt employees being required to be at work when they should be getting surgery. Lack of care for their employees. It’s all a money game to ChenMed especially with the “organizational structure changes” that happened 11/17/23. Center Directors aren’t even qualified in healthcare. Audits are done by an internal team, but no OSHA or JACHO audits happening; leaves room for cover ups (hence the workers comp claims missing). Town hall meetings with the entire company usually is just a lot of confusion and running circles around employee questions.

Pros

The pay is competitive, however the workload is very heavy. The company does put emphasis on a positive culture, but the teams are in constant fear of lay off, or being let go due to unrealistic productivity expectations

Cons

Bonuses are cancelled, changes are too often, everything is always a priority. The productivity expectations are unrealistic. The other thing is favoritism and nepotism, you will never advance if you are not friendly with certain people. It is very evident that the focus is not on talent when promotions are available.
