- My total compensation was above industry standards - Enjoyable & helpful colleagues, I felt the engineering team was overall very strong - The organization is large enough that it is easy to find expertise when you are looking for it - Dogs in the office
Cons
- Constant restructuring and turmoil, reported to 9 different managers in 4.5 years - Staff engineers in my immediate group frequently quit. None of my staff level colleagues work at the company anymore - Management applies standards unevenly and made promises they were unable to keep - Pressured by management not to renew an ADA agreement in my one on ones - Pressured by management not to take PTO. Texted by manager during a meaningful milestone in my life to complain that I took “unlimited” PTO that they approved - Called “pessimistic” when expressing concerns about team’s ability to meet deadlines. Punished when team did not meet the deadline. Expected to invent dates without critical information needed to provide them
