Pros

You'll learn positive ways to help customers and your allowed to do nice things on their behalf. It really is all about the customer here.

Cons

They promote themselves as equal opportunity, yet there isn't much cultural diversity. How is this possible in South Florida? They won't hire anyone with any type of an accent, that's their way of discriminating without actually saying it. It doesn't matter how qualified or intelligent you may be. Unfortunately, nothing here is about the staff which is disappointing. We're trained heavily on doing anything for our customers, yet we don't get the same treatment. No one here is trying to do their best for us, they expect you to be extremely robotic and only be "Chewy". We're to take into consideration that customers go through problems and never make anything their fault but heaven forbid someone in customer service makes a mistake. They tell you that you can quickly move up by doing a great job but in reality it just goes to who they favor which coincidentally are never the people who consistently do the most or best work. They don't promote those that work efficiently very fast because they need them to do the ground work. They pressure you to do more work because they can't seem to keep employees so there's too much work for the current staff. They'll walk around with clipboards at our busiest time pointing to words like "emails" and "chats" trying to force you to take more work while you're taking back to back calls and weekly product tests. It's a stressful call center. I don't know why they try to spin it as this place being this awesome and fun environment where people are doing fun activities. When? We answer the phone 8 hours a day, when are these fun things happening. On my 30 minute lunch or on my two 15 minute pre scheduled breaks? Neither, because I need to get back on the phone. Only high ups get "fun", everyone else just gets to work. The multiple, previous reviews discuss favoritism heavily. There's a reason for that. Sadly, there isn't much you can do about it because the favoritism starts very high up from the customer service manager. Get ready for rude and demeaning behavior, constantly throwing people under the bus and controlling through fear so look past the forced smiles. Additional "brand training" which sounds like it would be interesting to learn what we're actually selling is only for favored people, many of whom aren't even on the phones with customers so what's the point of them learning? We just receive emails about how awesome the training was and giving us the main points. Fun, right?

Pros

I am an artist and I get to do an art-related job. The schedule is flexible when things pop up. I get health insurance and 401k and a lot of free food, and there is free gym access in the office building. The people I work with are all generally very cool, friendly, and/or fun to work with.

Cons

The pay rate is below the industry standard for production artists. I am not able to afford a place of my own. I live with my parents and I work another job to supplement my income. I am basically surviving and able to pay all my bills, but I would not be able to live a full life on my own with the pay rate as it is now. The work culture portrays itself as progressive and inclusive place but it is the typical corporate toxic environment.
