Pros

Closed on Sundays. Company without long-term debt. A company with HIGH moral values and a GREAT reputation in the community and the industry. Interim Managers are given full health benefits and almost all expenses are paid. Operators and Home Office Staff are genuinely nice people. Good team members are a little easier to find because we have less turnover than the industry.

Cons

LONG hours. You are working for the opportunity to own/operate your own location. Can and will be sent anywhere on NO notice whatsoever. Lack of feedback from the Business Consultants who serve as your boss. Lack of feedback from the people in HR who are selecting Operators. Lots of talking in circles with no clear answers or directions. No definition of what a "good job" looks like or what our primary and secondary objectives are. Possibility (reality for some) of being on the road literally months on end without getting to travel home.

Pros

Experience with talking to customers, very clean job, you get certified for food handling. Training is quick. Job is enjoyable when you have a good crew.

Cons

You earn very little, and get worked very hard. I got payed $10/hr as a high school student and there was a day I got home from school and barely even had time to each because work started at 4pm and i worked until closing. You stand on your feet all shift, sitting down is considered "not allowed" I think because of "respect and presentation"
