Pros

Great team, great community. Chick-fil-A only hires great personalities, so it was nice to always be greeted by smiling faces at work. If you can get the team to buy in to what you're doing, it's a wonderful environment. Chick-fil-A Corporate's office is beautiful, and the CEO is brilliant and very welcoming.

Cons

For the role that the Owner/Operator wanted me to fill, the pay was atrocious. Not much room for creativity, since everything has to be run past Chick-fil-A's Custom Creative (which makes sense). It can be hard to utilize technical/digital marketing skills because of the emphasis that is put on planning community and in-store events. And it was discouraging when I had to work "on the floor"/in operations instead of being able to focus on Marketing.

Pros

Usually meet some pretty friendly people Free food for breaks (at some locations), and our location sometimes offered even more rewards for hitting a specific goal for cars in drive-thru during peak hours. Made for some fun competition

Cons

Often running shift without enough employees. Especially after COVID, a lot of companies really learned how minimally they can staff and still make money. Call outs are constantly an issue, and it's hard to find coverage from others. Rules constantly changing, and inconsistently enforced.
