Pros
Friendly staff Flexible work hours (depending on role/department) Easy to accrue PTO (starts on day 1) Benefits
Cons
Executive Leadership is out of touch with what direct service staff needs in order to do their jobs; Decisions are often made from the top down without consideration or input from those actually doing the work. The new Capital Campaign has clearly gone over budget and the agency is in over its head. There has been a huge increase in staff turnover across the agency and across departments. We were even told during the All Staff Meeting "There will be growing pains and some of you in this room won't be here to get to the finish line." This agency used to be a fun and enjoyable place to work at where you truly felt like you were making a difference and it didn't feel like work. With the new changes in Leadership, things have become increasingly unbearable. The focus has gone from the clients, children, and families we serve to $$$$$$$$.
