The organization will proudly tell you they strive to be in exactly in the 50th percentile for compensation and benefits. Mediocre salary and benefits lead to having a mediocre staff. The running theme from HR is that employees are so lucky to work for CHW, rather than CHW being lucky to have great people. So, they will mercilessly hit you up to donate back to the hospital multiple times a year. It's really aggressive. Their desire to build consensus also prevents meaningful change.
