Pros
The Company is growing and gaining market share at an unprecedented rate. Executive Management is approachable. Mid-level managers in Operations are outgoing and work with their teams - hands-on approach. Corporate Culture is one that embraces direct lines of communication and forward thinking. Whatever problems arise to impede operations or hinder support, then the Execs are not averse to look for solutions outside of the company via consultants who have industry experience. Interdepartmental teamwork seems to be a cultural norm because many are having to work on special project teams to identify and remediate operational weaknesses or implement policies affecting the entire Company. Upper Management seems to value employees' contributions.
Cons
Unchecked Growth has permitted costs to rise without a proper/accurate budget with which to control the rate of spending. - Lax control policies. Currently migrating to a cost accounting-based system from QB. No proper end-of-month close or accounting procedures in place, as of yet. We're working on it.
