Pros
Really great people to work with. IT is largely work from home. Mgmt is OK for the most part. Some better than others just like any place. It's a great hospital with great physicians and nursing staff. The CIO recently retired and the interim CIO is really a great person. Very smart and for an attorney understands IT well. Glassdoor.com lists Keating as CEO but hasn't been there in years. Debbie Hayes is CEO. Amazing person who worked her way up through the ranks to top spot. Senior Mgmt is really very good. Only two or three don't seem to honor TCH values very well.
Cons
Terrible Benefits compared TriHealth and St E. Mercy is pretty bad too (can't take children to Children's with insurance). PTO use it or lose it. Can only carry over 40 hours to next year. This policy leads to a large number of employees burning up PTO in June. Crazy policy and very short sighted. TriHealth carries over hundreds of hours depending on length of service. No on call pay but on call frequently. TriHealth pays $300 for on call weeks. Really screws with quality of life. Medical benefits are okay. Prescription does not cover weight loss meds which TriHealth does. Christ has an online weight loss program that is emails and videos. A real cheap way out to have something but not very effective. Education to advance career is non-existant for technical people. Run very very short staffed consistently. Salary is behind other area hospitals and very low annual raises. The annual bonus is usually a couple of hundred. Maybe take the spouse out to dinner.
