Pros
Up until the last several months when management changed, it was great. My care when I was pregnant was so amazing that I decided to get a job here. The patient-PCA ratios on my floor at the time were manageable, I had a great manager and I had a flexible schedule which was helpful since I am in school. I no longer have good things to say about this company now
Cons
Management changed on the floor I was on and it went downhill from there. Very cliquey and unless you were one of the “favorites”, management was always on you about stuff and it didn’t matter how hard you worked. I was terminated over some serious health issues I was having that caused me to miss a few weeks of work and because my doctor didn’t give them my paperwork fast enough they let me go with no regard to how I was doing and I was very coldly terminated over the phone. I gave the company 2 years and planned to stay there long term after I graduated. The staff to patient ratios have started to get worse and they’re expecting way more work than what is reasonable and you’re lucky if you get more than a $0.25 to $0.50 annual raise
