Christie’s significantly invests in learning and development as a business, including rolling out a number of new training opportunities and methodologies. So far we have received positive feedback on all these new initiatives. We recognise that the art industry is not as diverse as it should be but we are taking the necessary steps to ensure that young people have the opportunity to participate; examples of this is our partnership with charity Art History Linkup and the Futures and Options charity. We are a global company, it is our aim that our workforce reflects our global makeup and we have a zero tolerance policy on racism. We are working hard to ensure that our ethnic diversity is also reflective of broader society. Our Diversity and Inclusion Committee is committed to achieving this objective and we continue to educate our employees by offering workshops an example of this is bystander training and allyship.
