Pros

Used to be a good company back then. It's NOT Chubb anymore.

Cons

IT is in bad shape. IT Leadership is all fake and have no knowledge about business, but they all think they are Einstein. Unrealistic expectations over and over again, no stopping... OMG. All these IT leaders coming from banks such as Citi and etc were thrown away from those banks and now in Chubb they think they are geniuses. 100% Banking IT Culture now. These so-called leaders are Hyenas. They will eat you alive in few days/months. Unfortunately, this has become and companywide culture. Complete filth. Please stay away from them if possible. I left after many years at Chubb. I am so happy I did. These fake IT leaders will give you so much of work (completely unrealistic) and then expects miracles delivered. One mistake, you will be lectured and then tormented regularly. Inhuman culture. PLEASE STAY AWAY. If you have no other job offer, surely join them but don't stop looking elsewhere and leave asap once you have an option available.

Pros

Business side is smart and is superb at their product

Cons

The IT organization struggles with structural challenges that impact efficiency. The offshore-heavy model in India means US-based employees regularly work early hours to stay aligned, which is unsustainable long-term. The workforce is heavily weighted toward a high-headcount service model rather than investing in strong engineering talent — you need fewer, better engineers, not more bodies. Central tech functions are attempting to build platforms, but without a clear shared understanding of what a platform actually means, these initiatives remain incomplete. The result is heavy manual workarounds propping up half-finished solutions. Strategic direction shifts frequently, and ongoing layoff announcements make it difficult to plan or build momentum.
