Pros
I liked the people and enjoyed a decent work-life balance. I enjoyed many projects. Exposure to diverse technology ensured opportunity for a lot of skills. Ciber doesn't hide what it is - it's a cold, hard consulting company. It's up to you to maintain employment. They don't pretend to care - no training, no guarantees, no career path...that's on you. But they don't hide that fact either...you have to know what you're getting. It's a good and bad thing I suppose.
Cons
Always a concern that you would be on the bench or no follow-up project. The latest concern is that upper management doesn't know what the hell its doing: lacking focus on sales, debt out the wazoo (Wells Fargo), and arrogantly chasing ridiculous initiatives like a modernization product to end all products (Momentum). Upper management has arrogantly pursued ridiculous initiatives that are not panning out - and too foolish to pull out and cut their losses.
