Pros
Tried really hard to think of something and all I could come up with is that they give you a nice coffee mug on your first day.
Cons
I totally agree with the April 18 entry about unrealistic on-boarding requirements. FOURTEEN+ hours of required reading through inane presentations, documents, etc. mandated for your personal time because, naturally you can't do them on the client's time. That doesn't include another EIGHT+ hours of mandated courses related to your specific discipline... again from your personal time. Managers behaving incredibly unprofessionally and not familiar with basic project documentation, yet the "official word" is that they are doing an amazing job for their clients, and growing their business. Meanwhile their stock dives when it's almost worth nothing as it is, and when you check the list of top consulting firms in the U.S. they are at the bottom of the top 100. Icing on the cake? Being emailed in your first week to "explain" that a minimum of 45 hours is required of you every week regardless of workload. (When one is salaried and often forced to work nights and weekends with zero compensation, I think telling folks they MUST work a minimum of 45 hours every week is somewhat silly.)
