Pros

Cincinnat Children's Hospital Medical Center is a great community of passionate people with goals and aspirations. The employees and management are extremly supportive and encourage growth and education. I have been given the opportunity to take graduate level classes, paid in full by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. My management has been more than willing to work towards my goals of entering graduate school full-time within two years. My colleagues are eternally supportive and helpful. As this is a Children's hospital, the atmosphere is very energetic and positive. It would be extremely difficult to find an employee who is dissatified with their job at CCHMC. CCHMC is recognized nationally and internationally as a very pretigous institution.

Cons

Cincinati Children's Hospital Medical Center has such a large employee base, some employees are required to park up to 10-15 minutes away from the hospital and shuttle into work. The area around Cincinnati Children's Hosptial Medical Center is quite dangerous and reports of employee muggings and attacks are more frequent than in most hospital areas. Centered amongst several hospitals, in can be quite difficult sifting through traffic to get to work. As Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is recognized internationally as a great institution, many employees speak English as a second or third language, causing a bit of a communication barrier at times.
