Pros

Free movies. Free popcorn and drink during shift, 50% off concessions when you're off the clock. Occasionally free posters.

Cons

Forced to work on unpaid breaks as management, severely incompetent chain of command, refused to hire an adequate number of employees so current employees didn't need to work 47+ hours a week, no overtime pay, MUST work every holiday, must complete rigorous online "Cinemark Learning University" that "trains" you, but in reality just wastes both time and paper while teaching next to nothing, some of the worst customer interactions I've ever faced, pay for management is embarrassingly low, 10+ hour shifts are regular, double-shifts are common, constantly scheduled to do close-opens.

Pros

3 months training; team leads and supervisors support you during all the process (hiring, training, calls); the place is calm and organized; every month we have team meetings and individual feedback. We have promotions on our area, at least $1 dollar per year of salary increase. You need to pass with a 80% score on a yearly test, even after being hired. You can receive a $2,500 bonus if you are hired as a trilingual agent (Portuguese, Spanish and English).

Cons

It is a call center environment, so you need to be prepared to work under pressure in order to make things happen. But your coworkers are really supportive and trilingual or bilingual, mostly.
