Pros

Freedom to manage your work load and schedule, livable wage, management tends to stay out of your hair as long as your meeting your goals. $50 a month reimbursement for cell phone. Benefits are decent.

Cons

Company will cut your pay without thinking twice, then hits record record profits... Pay goes down over time because they move the goal post further and further every year, making it harder for you to reach goals and hit bonus--meanwhile increasing profits. They can decide to change your route at any time to a lower volume route; this could impact your pay 10-15k a year, so don't buy a house or anything, you may not be able to afford it when Cintas decides they want to split routes to make more money. PTO plan was enhanced this year; however, it's still well below the average for a fortune 100 company. Furthermore ,they don't even let you use the time, rollover is limited to 5 days, and god forbid you get sick or need medical treatment, you are treated like a dirt bag. I was actually directed not to seek medical treatment for a condition, because I wouldn't be able to work post surgery with a cast on. Management is typically grown from their Management Trainee program right out of college. So they have no real world leadership experience or common sense, thus can be brain washed by the "Corporate Culture" and are taught to master the art of peeing on people and telling them its raining. There is literally no HR presence. When I started I was never told what benefits I was or was not entitled, and managers either don't know, or they can't be bothered. Come to find out, it takes 2 years to receive any matching contributions or profit sharing in your 401K. Something had I known, or had been clearly documented some where, I would've never taken the job. Lastly, if you leave the company they will not cash out your PTO time, so burn it. Moreover, even though I clearly resigned with a 2 week notice and worked the entire 2 weeks, I was marked as "Terminated". This is laughable, reminds me of a Middle School breakup-- "I'm breaking up with you, no I'm breaking up with you first!".

Pros

Working at Cintas First Aid & Safety has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences I’ve had. From day one, it’s clear that the company genuinely cares about its employee partners and wants them to succeed. The training is thorough, hands‑on, and designed to set you up for long‑term growth. Leaders are approachable, supportive, and always willing to jump in and help. What I Love Most: - Strong, positive culture of teamwork - Career growth opportunities - Meaningful, impactful work — what we do matters - Great training, continued development, and support - Stability and benefits

Cons

No company is perfect, but the challenges here tend to be the kind that help you grow. Fast‑paced days, high expectations, and a results‑driven environment. If you’re someone who thrives on structure, competitive spirit, and momentum, you’ll fit right in.

Pros

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
