I am so glad to be gone from this hell hole. They should call their employees prisoners not partners. This is the most degrading job I have ever had. The salaried people and the route drivers won't see it this way necessarily because they are considered the bread and butter of this company. The Distribution center, customer service and poor order fulfillment is the pits. They micro manage everything. If you have to use the restrooms outside of your two breaks and lunch, its a problem. If you talk ...moreso in order fulfillment, its a problem. If you get up and talk, upper management will walk around to see what you are doing, to try to intimidate you from socializing. Their systems don't work, their workflow process don't work. Nothing works. So many mangers and what for? None of them are educated, smart, logical or classy. They treat their employees like indentured servants. They expect you to bend over backwards for them and they change your schedule at a moment notice, cut your hours, then expect you to sign up for over time later. Management walks around and ask you "Isn't this company amazing"? Like you should be happy to be working here, and being treated like this. I heard management say, she doesn't care about those who left or who are leaving because they are meeting their numbers regardless. What type of management says that openly in the middle of the call center, so employees can hear? The employees who have been there the longest, are tired of this place and no there is no advancement, but they feel their is no hope, they don't think there is anything better. They are fearful of not having a job so the conform to this communism work life. If you are a new hire, they will not tell you that training is very little and not comprehensive. They will not tell you, you won't get vacation for a year and then its only five days. No personal time. There is no work life balance here. Also, this company is a multi billion dollar company; but they don't give a 401K match?? What??? They have this KPI system that they live by, but no one can explain how it really works. that's because the manager that introduced this system, resigned. This place is a horrible place for anyone but it is really horrible to minorities, minorities not just saying African Americans, Polish, Hispanic etc. and they knowingly treat people unfair. I am so glad to be gone. It was the worst job I've ever had ....If you are interviewing for order fulfillment, or customer service run your butt off!!!

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
