Pros
Was hired in when the plant first opened for production. The GM was fantastic but than we got a new GM and things changed. The plant was now in it's fifth year and it appeared that they were trying to get rid of people who had been there the longest. It worked !
Cons
Mandatory overtime at the end of my five year employment with the company. Management didn't hire in enough people or temps to help with the work after we had bought out another company. Lots of chaos and stress. Maybe things are better now but I would never go back. Management said that our raises were based on work performance but were really based on how many days we missed. Work reviews were rarely given on time - thereby delaying any raise that we might be receiving. I think the lowest raise other than nothing was that someone got a 3 cent raise while I was there, which to me was a message from the company - a slap in the face. Nothing would have been better rather than getting 3 cents. I left the company in 2006 and never looked back.
