The higher you move up in the company, the more it is about who you know. The company is going away from takng care of their people. More focused on numbers, policies, procedures, etc. They do a poor job of rolling out the changes within the organization. The people involved in making the decisions for things to changes are in the corporate office and do not really understand what really happens at the local facilities. Pay plans changes yearly. They are rolled out a quarter into the year. They are late to pay you the money you have earned.
