Pros
You do get to be alone most of the time which is nice.
Cons
The whole system is messy. You get a low base salary, and make very little off commissions. You’re pushed by management to make more money at each customer every month. This is clearly unachievable and leads every SSR to do shady things. I’ve had my manager tell me to remove product that a customer has already paid for in their first aid cabinet to make room for new product just to make the sale. I’ve had the same manager tell me I cannot go home until I made a certain amount of money that day. Management will also tell you that you cannot use your own PTO around holidays and if you do use PTO they will deny it and you’ll get a strike. 3 strikes and you’re fired. Management praises you for scamming customers, and reprimands you when you don’t.
