Pros

Benefits packages nothing else

Cons

As a manager, once you get a store in good working order they move you to another dirt hole and you have to start from square one. This happened to me every 4 to 6 months. You have to work every day and be on call 24 hours a day. I was LITERALLY so sick I was throwing up one day and the district manager told me he "didn't work for me" and "couldn't help find someone to do MY job!" Circle K is considered a "food service" job due to the roller grill and coffee and it is ILLEGAL to have someone with a stomach virus around food for 48 hours...I worked 18 hours that day and 16 the next. And then with his amazing leadership skills he had the nerve to give me a hard time because the gas pumps had dust on top of them!! I hope this company sets itself on fire and burns to the ground.

Pros

The work environment is relaxed and low-stress, and the projects themselves are genuinely interesting and give you room to work on real, meaningful problems. Compensation is fair for the base role, and the day-to-day culture is easy to work within.

Cons

Growth opportunities within the company are limited, and it can be hard to see a clear path upward. Compensation, while fair, isn't very competitive compared to the market for similar data science roles, especially as skills develop. Projects are interesting but aren't closely tied to cutting-edge AI/ML work, so it's harder to build modern, in-demand technical skills here.
