Pros

They are open 24/7 so if you in school, YOU (not the manager) can work around your school hours. You get tuition reimbursement, and health and dental insurance.

Cons

Circle K have horrible management!!! They do not care about you, or your personal life. Management will put you on the schedule whenever they feel like it, even when you state to them you are not available at that time. Management will always be on you, and always threatening you about your job. If you don't meet a specific sells goal, you will be written up, three write ups for the same thing you might get fired. Higher ups (district managers, regional director) don't care about you. They do not acknowledge your presence unless you doing something wrong. You DO NOT get a break, even if you are schedule for an eight hour shift. Over all Circle K is horrible company to work for unless you need the money or in college and its job to have a little spending money.

Pros

The work environment is relaxed and low-stress, and the projects themselves are genuinely interesting and give you room to work on real, meaningful problems. Compensation is fair for the base role, and the day-to-day culture is easy to work within.

Cons

Growth opportunities within the company are limited, and it can be hard to see a clear path upward. Compensation, while fair, isn't very competitive compared to the market for similar data science roles, especially as skills develop. Projects are interesting but aren't closely tied to cutting-edge AI/ML work, so it's harder to build modern, in-demand technical skills here.
