Pros

If you can manage to find a good boss then things are okay. If you're semi competent, you'll be promotable because the employee base is low potential at best. If you stay with them, you'll also get promoted because so many people leave (avg tenure is close to 1.5 or maybe even 2 years).

Cons

We feel we're "bottom tier" as compared to other C-Stores. Last to innovate (which at that point we're copying), last to act, last on wages...ect. Too difficult to hire people because of processes in place. Unrealistic bonus structure which is tantamount to carrot on a stick syndrome. The feeling that corporate is completely out of touch with front line employees and have no understanding of employee/manager capacity in terms of work accomplishable. No standard operating procedure for almost all job functions.

Pros

Surprisingly Great Access to Benefits. I opened up an HSA and had access to a company sponsored HDHP insurance plan, so it's a legit savings account. Well, they throw the food out at the end of the day, so if you buy anything while you're working there then you're making a mistake. Great work environment, like they can actually sell chocolate bars inside! -- What a bar.

Cons

Well, you can only stay there for so long. I found if you don't try out the deals then your particularly hurtful to customers, the caviot is the food deals are a waste of time. They'll work you if you try the stuff, so just don't try anything.
