Pros

I like that they do give a raise every 3 months but it is only 25 cents. There is room for opportunity though. You also get bonuses based on sales which it can be up to 3 more an hour but I've only seen 1 dollar extra an hours a few times for a few hours a week.

Cons

Very short staffed, I'm not sure why it's a high turnover, possibly the pay because it starts at 14.50 an hour which isn't great. Nobody wants to wait a year at a job to get a dollar raise. On the weekends, it's short staffed which doesn't help with customer service. When there's only one person to work, and things needs to get done, customers have to wait and how convenient is that for a "convenient" store. Circle is very stingy about hours, the budget is insanely low.

Cons

Massive company. I worked a couple different roles from the “corporate” side, even if I was in stores a lot of the time. One thing I learned is that the “office” or “corporate” roles don’t really have a day off. Sure, it’s a Monday-Friday job but it’s like regardless of what you do there, you’re on call in some way but there isn’t any sort of incentive in return. You’re likely not going to get a sufficient work-life balance working here, because, again, someone is going to be calling or emailing you on the weekend or in the evening where either you have to handle it, or pass it onto someone else who can. Lack of thorough vetting has resulted in unqualified leadership with challenging management styles that hurt daily team morale.
