This company is in a full-blown tailspin that is collapsing from the inside out. They’re drowning in legal trouble (yes, the DEA investigations and lawsuits are real),
many providers were unknowingly practicing illegally due to the company’s complete lack of regulatory knowledge and oversight. Rather than owning up to this massive failure, leadership tried to cover it up and shifted the burden onto the providers and employees resulting in pay cuts (while already underpaying) and multiple layoff rounds. They’ll tell you it’s “performance-related” or “restructuring,” but it’s just desperate damage control.
Some of the most dedicated, high-quality healthcare professionals I’ve ever worked with left in frustration and disbelief at how poorly they were treated.
Leadership is focused on replacing providers with AI to make the company fully autonomous, essentially becoming the “Waymo” of healthcare. Instead of investing in and supporting their clinical team, they’re pouring resources into tech experiments that other healthcare startups have already tried and failed at, often with disastrous consequences for both patient care and compliance. This obsession with automation over people shows just how little they value the providers who built the foundation of this company. It’s not about improving care- it’s about cutting costs, no matter the risk.
Morale is at rock bottom, and it’s no surprise why: people are overworked, underpaid, and watching valued employees get cut left & right. This goes for both full time employees and the 1099 providers.
Everything you’ve read online is unfortunately true — from Reddit to BBB to other Glassdoor reviews. The culture is fake, leadership is out of touch, and there’s no clear future here. Most of the good people have already left or been laid off, with more to come.
