Pros

Once upon a time, it used to be a wonderful place to work. Some of the original people are still around, the food is still free for now, and employee parking. Can't forget employee parking. Also, there's discounts to places and such. Until he sold out to Chinese investors.

Cons

Ever since the buyout, the quality has declined drastically. We have all been poisoned by their employee food on numerous occasions. (If you work in a costume or wet suit, you'll understand how horrifying this could be). Our "boss" now is comparable to Peter Griffin an we are all Meg. The review about "who you know" is absolutely correct. I've seen so many qualified people turned down because the position was being filled by a family member or friend. It's really hard to get fired from here so you've got to work with that 20 year drunk that messes everything up or the person who wants to be lazy and not do her pre-chores before the show. (yeah, our job is dangerous too so that's exciting). But don't worry! The boss won't fire you. He'll just chat your ear off about the weather and hate speech. (He should just try out to be a clown). If you work too hard, you will end up doing the additional work of the lazy person. They will change your hours for certain weeks that's all over the map. (Don't have a life or else!) And be sure you understand you work on every holiday they could get their greedy hands on. Little by little, they take pieces of our satisfaction away. They take our time away. Just waiting until they start breaking into our banks. Welcome to the new America.

Pros

For the most part, they still have excellent production values.

Cons

Workforce has become stretched thin, limited mobility and growth, especially compared to what it used to be.

Pros

You get to work in theatre

Cons

Just received annual raise. Was told CDS stresses this is *not* a cost of living increase, it is just a raise, and that the company cannot keep up with inflation in regards to our pay
