Pros
Great co-workers, good opportunities to learn technical skills. Until 2014 the org chart was flatter than a pancake, pay was high across the board, and bad apples were not tolerated.
Cons
Since 2014, headcount has exploded unnecessarily and with no organization from senior management, resulting in a bloated layer of middle managers plagued with toxic personalities. Bad apples are no longer weeded out. It is no longer a meritocracy for roles that are not profit-centers. Average pay has gone down. High turnover speaks for itself.
