      Citi offers a variety of opportunities for career development. An employee is free to take his/her career in any path of his/her choosing. Management is knowledgeable and easy to work with. Leadership maintains adequate communication with employees

      Citi si undergoing difficult times due to the economy downturn. Public opinion had been harsh on the company. Salaries are frozen and salary increases are scarce, even for top performers.

      Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
