Pros

Large company... if that’s even a positive

Cons

Everything. In GCB, people are treated terribly across the board — below market pay (vs. Chase, AmEx, Goldman), next to nothing in employee perks, soulless managers, and HR contacts who ghost you amidst serious issues. I have never been so amazed across the board at how horrible this company treats its people... and our leadership still questions why we feel undervalued. Work here and you will feel disposable, undervalued, and absolutely miserable. ... and this culture really shows in how bad our products are. No one believes in the business or its products. Look at the VOE scores... everyone hates working here and is only counting the days until they can leave for a better (any) competitor or a startup that actually values your humanity. Company is made of soul sucking vultures. Boasting of its “internal mobility” but gives you unsupportive managers and HR recruiters that ignore you endlessly. Boasting of “innovation” but then hiring leadership that completely disbanded Citi FinTech and D10X (internal entrepreneurship program for employees). Boasting of hiring great leaders but the turnover is so ridiculously high that we’re in a constant state of reorg, and the new GCB CEO Anand is unashamedly snarky and dismissive of employee concerns even in town halls. Do not work here. This company is full of burnouts being led by insensitive, soulless leadership. And your voice will never be heard

Pros

Hybrid schedule right out of “training” and FT WFH privilege came much faster than expected. There are some great benefits. Job confidence as

Cons

Training was a waste of Citi’s money and a train wreck. Facilitator was all over the place. Normally there’s a flow to training, there was no flow and it was all over the place. OJT felt like sinking or swimming.
