If micromanagement is what you like, this is the job for you! They are pushing the customers out of the bank and expecting the bankers to do more to get them back in. Check ups are the most ridiculous things that customers are not interested in. Whoever is coming up with these ideas should actually spend time in the branches to understand what our customers want. Call night is awful! How many times do you answer the phone when a telemarketer calls? Being hung up on constantly and told "sorry my husband is deceased" please do not call again, is no fun at all. It is all about the numbers. Really tired of being told "must be held accountable".... It is all about the numbers not about the customers. Have gone back to the stone ages with 3 ring binders and printing every piece of paper to put in them for regionals to go through and criticize. If it did not work 10 years ago why on earth would it work now? They never have a good thing to say only the bad. Sell, sell, sell or else! Loyalty and commitment mean absolutely nothing at this bank. You will leave at the end of each day with your head feeling like it is going to explode from stress. It is actually sad. There is a revolving door of colleagues. Today people do not want to be treated like they are worthless unless they are exceeding unattainable goals. We work hard everyday no matter what. I take my job seriously and it makes no difference. I always do what is best for my customers. I am not going to sell them something they do not need just to reach a goal that I get very little incentive for.
