Pros

Clark has great employee benefits and several programs available to help you network within Clark and the industry (intramural sports, project management conferences, etc.).

Cons

You will work at least 50 hours a week, not including occasional weekend work. If you work in the Mid-Atlantic region take serious consideration into where you live and how you travel because your commute could be as short as 30 minutes or longer than 2 hours. Depending on the state of the project, the work environment may be high pressure. You will be expected to deliver results regardless of what may have happened before you were on the project. Emotions can run high at times, although it should never be taken as a personal attack (at least in my experience). Upper management does want you to be successful, but it is not always apparent when projects are behind schedule.

Pros

-Interesting projects -Exposure within the industry

Cons

-Almost every review I’ve seen everyone says over worked. They say it’s the industry but Clark is known in the construction world for that. Working 12 hours in the field in normal and expected. - they favor certain people and make them little mentees under long term employees. Those people are then given a gold star. -Departments who you think would care about their people ( HR and Communications do not) -become so woke yet don’t actually react -Make the new vacation policy look like a benefit but it’s actually less time and keeps them from having to pay out if you leave - take pride in “safety” but expect you to drive to work in a snowstorm because they cleared the parking lot. The amount of people that were amazed at that email is insane.
