Pros
The school has authentically caring faculty and front-line employees. Staff is amazingly agile given slim resources.
Cons
Research and Teaching assistance ships are brutal, and among underpaying the students immensely, the infrastructure at the school is so poor that RAs and TAs lack working computers, software, or any good tools to do their jobs. However, Investment decisions made by senior management seem micro-managed and parsimonious. Sidewalks are broken, computers don’t work, but the President wants to build a new gate. It’s depressing how much staff has to put up with here, and not surprising that many become bitter over the years.
