Recently, there has been a pay cut for both store managers and assistants. I cannot believe you could do such a thing! These people work SO hard. There are store managers out there who have worked with this company for over 10 years and this is how you treat them? Unbelievable. No matter how hard you work, it will never be good enough for them. Also, they do not promote within the company, instead they look for people from the outside. Or like the newly hired upper management they bring their previous colleagues. There is no way to progress to higher positions. Employee morale is very low right now and it isn't fun to work anymore. The computers always have issues and take forever to load. Shipments are crazy. One time we received a huge shipment of 95 boxes days before black Friday. We couldn't even move around to look for shoes it was so packed in the backroom, which causes an unsafe work environment. Clarks doesn't care about their employees.
