Pros

Excellent relationships between staff members Therapists really support each other Can be rewarding to help people cope with their problems For new therapists you can get a variety of cases in order to build your experience

Cons

Seems like management cares more about accepting as many consumers as possible and not about the well being of the therapists. Your schedule is expected to be fully packed, with no extra time allotted for other tasks that are extremely important, such as finishing your progress notes with 24 hours, returning phone calls, doing incident reports if something goes wrong with your client. I found myself having to do alot of paper work during my own personal time. Management was not very clear on explaining the pros or cons of part time work: for instance, they say you are still paid for an hour that a client no shows, but later I learned that if I had a cancellation the day before, it was up to me to fill that spot, all the while I have no time in the day to fit that in because of all my other duties. If you don't there is no pay, even if you spend that time doing other important work necessary for billing. Honestly, the whole experience was a mix of highs and lows.

Pros

Pros-very relaxed with things like work hours. Remote employees can have your kids home with you as long as you get your work done.

Cons

Unrealistic productivity expectations, too many leadership changes, too many team meetings that are a waste of time.
