There are lots of different opportunities for different types of experience. Supervisors encourage staff to take on new challenges and to develop themselves. Everyone is understanding and supportive of having a family and encourages self-care.
Cons
It’s a Medicaid community mental health agency. It’s fast paced and hard work due to low Medicaid reimbursement rates and high community needs. Paperwork can be overwhelming.
