Pros
working with the children and families that receive services was the only positive thing about this job.
Cons
The admin pretends to care about you, but they only care about you if you are able to suck up to them somehow. The second you do something wrong (whether by accident or something out of your control), you are written up without them asking you what happened. The admin are quick to blame others for mistakes they have blatantly made. The office is a black hole where only negativity comes out of. If you do something right, just wait, they will find something you did wrong within a few minutes. There is absolutely no praise for the people that work hard and truly care about their cases, and the people that slack get promotions and pats on the back. No support whatsoever for employees that may be having a hard time. The admin are permitted to only work Monday through Friday from 9-5, but the field staff is expected to work 24/7. If you have a problem and it occurs after 5PM on a weekday, forget about having it resolved by an admin...it will have to wait until they are in the office...no matter what. Good luck getting paid for services you provided to consumers!
