Pros

The clients and other employees are wonderful. The clients are lovely, mostly young children and their families who are trying to live and adapt to diagnoses. The other employees are genuine and won't sugar-coat situations you'll be dealing with in clients' homes or at work.

Cons

You won't get hours you're promised. I was hired as full time at the beginning of November. It's now the end of January and I still haven't seen a week where I was able to bill close to 32 hours. Management doesn't really care if a client they offer you is within your travel abilities and they take it personally when you explain that you cannot accept a case (usually travel related, time frame restrictions, or conflict of other scheduled clients).

Working and building relationships with the clients.

Cons

If the clients don’t come to school or if the parent cancels a session, you don’t get paid.
