Tutor - Tutor Classical Conversations Employee Review

Pros

Compensation typically balances out tuition fees if you have two children enrolled in Foundations and Essentials.

Cons

Obviously, there are no employee benefits--it's a contract position. Prep work for class can take a disproportionately great amount of time, which translates to very little compensation for actual hours spent working. Employment as a tutor for Foundations and Essentials is only available while your children are enrolled in that program. Once your children age out, so do you. There really isn't anything that can change about this, because it's just he nature of the organization's structure. That said, it works.

Pros

Amazing team and leadership. Thoughtful leadership structure and support. Great training.

Cons

As most leadership in the organization are homeschool parents, the pay is usually enough to cover a large family's homeschooling expenses, but not much more

Pros

Flexible schedule, great homeschool curriculum.

Cons

Each community has too much flexibility, which takes away from the great structure that Classical Conversation has if done correctly.
