Cons
1.) Some QA's with no development experience have been promoted to Team Leads, Unfortunately I was put under one such person, he used to show as he knows lots of things but reality was other wise and result was incomplete projects, angry clients and unsatisfied team members. It was only when I insisted for team change, I got the opportunity to work, but others with me who were not lucky enough just left company. So if you are going to join the company as developer please ask HR if hey are not planning to put you under some QA. 2.) Your suggestions will not be taken, they have so called open house meetings, where they try to convince you with what they want in a diplomatic way.
