Pros

Free coffee and the occasional pizza party.

Cons

For a large org, its very disorganized across lines of business. No one truly knows whats going on and its always a dumpster fire to put out. Minimal pay raises and no cost of living adjustment - keep the shareholders happy right? Org has no drive to seek outside vedor support when you can just "internalize it". The most frustrating things how the business stays operational on pen/paper and excel sheets (its not 1990 anymore). For a "top" environmental services provider its very hard to keep drivers - the equipment is patched together and always being taken away (do more with less!) The competitor's pay more... WAKE UP! hard to keep support staff - engagement and retention are terrible. this is a good stepping stone job.

Pros

Plenty of hours between 75 to 80 hours a week minimum. Good place to get experience as a stepping stone.

Cons

You're always on call it is mandatory that you work three weekends a month both Saturday and Sunday including the 5-day work weeks Monday through Friday Technician. As a coordinator you work 6 day work weeks Sunday through Friday you only get Saturdays off it's a salary based position so you get no compensation if you work over 8 hours a day as a coordinator and you will work more than 8 hours a day your minimum will be 12 to 14 hours a day up to a maximum of 18 hours a day regularly.
