Pros

The job is monotonous, mentally draining, and degrading!

Cons

I often found myself performing the same procedures and tests repeatedly, which can become monotonous and mentally draining over time. And for all the hard work, I was paid very poorly. I eventually left the job because I couldn't take it anymore. I was performing a routine vision test on a customer. I accidentally made a mistake in entering the data into the computer. The owner came over and started yelling at me, calling me incompetent and lazy. He said that I was failing at my job and that I should be fired. I was so humiliated and embarrassed. I tried to apologize and explain that it was a simple mistake, but he refused to listen. He just kept yelling at me until I started to cry. I ran out of the store and went home, feeling completely defeated.

Pros

Great atmosphere and wonderful people. They have a card that covers most insurance costs making our benefits package much more useful.

Cons

The facility that I work in is slightly understaffed.

Pros

Getting hired at Clear Align was easy, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing people. I truly enjoyed the colleagues I worked with.

Cons

At Clear Align, it quickly became "CLEAR" that many of my colleagues shared the same sentiment. I was constantly reminded that I had made a mistake by joining the company, which was unsettling. Though I was only there for a short time, I frequently heard negative comments about the owner and the toxic environment. Whenever I asked for clarification, the response was always the same: 'You'll find out,' accompanied by a knowing smirk. And I did. The owner proved to be extremely difficult to work for. 'Micro-managing' didn’t even begin to describe it. The constant yelling and condescending remarks created a hostile and unprofessional atmosphere. I knew I had to leave. One piece of advice: do not advocate for yourself. Doing so could result in termination or retaliation by the owner.
